Taichung County Seaport Art Center is a multi-functional art and performance space with an area of 30,394 square meters. With the perfect functions and facilities, the center is mainly divided into Exhibition Hall, Concert Hall, Artist Archives, Conference Hall, Open-Air Stage Recreation Area, Classrooms and Administration Area. Not only offer a recreational place of art and culture to be exhibited or performed for people, it also supplements actively the innate deficiency to avoid the border, becoming the key center of art and performance of the nation.

CONCERT HALL
It is the area of 1,800 square meters with a white-membrane top on the hall, very similar to a wide-brimmed bamboo hat, which is the most distinctive building of the center. The stage is designed by glass-framed style, the amount of auditorium can accommodate 546 seats, and there is an orchestra rehearsal room and a dancing rehearsal room subordinate to the hall. It is a medium hall of multi-functional performance space of music, drama and dance, various programs are held here very often.

RECREATION AREA WITH OPEN-AIR STAGE
It is an open-air square divided into six outdoor areas, including Art Square, Cing Shuei Square, Winding Square, Totem Square, Activities Square and Elegant Book Gallery. It is appropriate for outdoor performance such as local dramas, open-air concerts and weekend culture activities.

EXHIBITION HALL
With an area of 3,000 square meters, the hall was designed by the idea of Looking for Art just as the meaning as entrance to create an atmosphere of Seeking and Searching, with the hope that people will make themselves at home when they have a tour to the halls. It is separated into Exhibit A (1,880 square meters), Exhibit B (750 square meters), Exhibit C (280 square meters), and Art Gallery, the exhibition area on second floor, as well as the open-air yard exhibit area, mainly exhibits of drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and relics.

CONFERENCE HALL
With the largest room in the center, the conference room can accommodate 110 seats. In addition, with the facility of audio and video function, the seminars, the lectures or the courses are held very often.

TAICHUNG COUNTY ARTIST ARCHIVES
With an area of 312 square meters, it was launched on November 4th, 2001. It aims at collecting, organizing, storing, displaying and providing the exhibitions of Taichung County Artists achievements and related data with pictures and text. It is the collecting and supplying center of Taichung County Artists data and files; besides, it is also the introduction and display center to the Taichung County artists' achievement. People will have a deep understanding about the artists regarding to their birth background, teacher-pupil relationships, art career, art thoughts, as well as the art value through the introduction graphically and literally, it will display the artists' works or digitized files.
